People’s Climate March Marin

marin_climate_march_jg.jpgThe largest climate march in history is taking place on September 21 in New York City in advance of a UN summit on climate change. And people around the world are mobilizing to demand the world we know is within our reach: a world with an economy that works for people and the planet; a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities.

If you can't get to NYC (or Oakland) for this historic event, help make history locally by joining 350Marin and your concerned community at Creek Park in San Anselmo on Sunday, September 21st from 1-2:30 pm for the Largest Climate March In Marin History! We'll gather at the Park, march over to the Hub (Sir Francis Drake and Center Blvds) with signs and posters encouraging UN World Leaders to move forward aggressively during the climate change summit. We'll gather afterwards at the Park for a short inspiring talk and music.

Please join us, other communities worldwide, and over 950 businesses, unions, faith groups, schools, social justice groups, environmental groups and more in an unprecedented collaboration. Remember – politicians seldom do the right thing until the people make them.
