Refinery Corridor Healing Walk

Please join Idle No More for the final Healing Walk this year from Rodeo to Richmond on Sunday, July 17th! There will be a 350 Bay Area contingent.

There is a long history in Native America of these types of healing walks.  The Refinery Corridor Healing Walks were inspired by the Tar Sands Healing Walks in Alberta, Canada, the Longest Walks, and the Peace & Dignity Journeys. This is the fourth year of the Healing Walks.

We will begin at Lone Tree Park in Rodeo with a Water Ceremony and Registration at 8AM.  The walk starts at 9:30AM.  Please see the important details of the route in the announcement linked HERE.  There are ways shown of returning to the start from different points or starting at other places than the start if you do not feel you can do the whole march.  And don't forget your water bottle!

Car pool to the march possibilities if you contact Ken below.
