Chevron Shareholder's Meeting

Protest at Chevron's Annual Shareholder Meeting on Wednesday morning.  Join with various allies from indigenous groups in Ecuador, Canada, and near the refinery across the Bay in Richmond who have suffered greatly from health affects and worse as we protest Chevron's wreckless pursuit of profits even while they have known about the affects they are having on all of us through global warming.

The rally will be colorful and fun and support support human rights as well as environmental, economic and climate justice. This company continues to fight against all efforts to consider the planet and our health.  They were just awarded a license to drill in the Arctic last week by Norway.

This event is co-sponsored as well by by Amazon Watch, Asian Pacific Environmental Network, Communities for a Better Environment, WECAN (Women's Earth and Climate Action Network), Pachamama Alliance,  Movement Rights, Idle No More SF Bay, Sunflower Alliance, Richmond Progressive Alliance, Community Science Institute, Rainforest Action Network.

Please rsvp and email or call to let us know if you want to carpool.
