Bay Area Air Quality Workshop Needs You!

A coalition of environmental groups including 350Marin and 350 Bay Area is mobilizing to be a strong presence at Thursday’s Bay Area Air Quality Management District  (BAAQMD - also known as the Air District) Rules Workshop. Your support is valued, if you can make it.  The  Board and staff are reviewing their rules for reducing greenhouse gases and other pollutants from stationary sources such as refineries, cement plants, etc.  We need to discuss their plans, and press them to take real action to reduce the pollution that affects not just the East Bay, but Marin, the Bay Area, California, and the world!  See the details in the flyer below.  You can download the flyer HERE.

When: Thursday, 3/30  6:30 - 8:00 pm
Where: Bermuda Room, Richmond Memorial Auditorium, 403 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA 94804
What:  The attached flyer contains a great explanation of what is at issue, what the rules are, and why it’s important to advocate for them.

Suggest carpooling and arriving early to allow for traffic.
